On July 15th, 2009 I presented a webinar for my colleagues over at CharityHowTo about nonprofit use of video, particularly YouTube. There were many questions that I did not have a chance to reply to due to limited time. Below are 3 short videos that contain my responses to those questions.
On July 15th I'm doing a webinar that I think you'll find very helpful. You will learn how to use both freely available video as well as your own video to tell your story, inspire existing and new donors, better serve clients, improve staff performance, support your Board of Directors and activate your volunteers and members.

In this interview Gavin speaks frankly about foundations, nonprofits and issues related to organizational change. By the way - Gavin's Digital Diner blog is fantastic. First, a few brief introductory notes:
I’m into creation of high impact online content
that requires a minimum of capacity to produce. Development of screencasts using FREE tools like Jing and Screencast.com make this easy. What is a screencast you ask. It is simply a digital recording of your computer
screen output, also known as a video screen capture, often containing audio narration. You are probably wondering how it can be used to raise money. Below is a sample screencast that I just created for a client that is making a pitch to potential corporate donors later this week.
WAIT A FEW SECONDS FOR THE SCREENCAST IMAGE TO POP UP BELOW THIS TEXT.
THEN CLICK ON THE BIG ARROW - PLEASE WAIT 5-10 SECONDS AND THE SCREENCAST WILL START. It could take longer.
What kind of capacity do I need to expend to do this?
